The health and safety of our staff, customers, fellow site workers and the general public is of paramount importance to us. We are constantly striving for continuous improvement in our Health and Safety management, objectives and processes. We are committed to achieving zero incidents throughout the Company and have zero Riddor in the last 3 years.
Our staff receive comprehensive Health & Safety training and all site staff are expected to hold the appropriate CSCS/CPCS card to carry out their duties safely. All Site Supervisors are SMSTS qualified and we provide IOSH training for Senior Managers. Our safe working practices and procedures ensure that all projects are operated under CDM legislation. We are accredited with Constructionline, Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (Chas), and are Safe Contractor approved.
South West Building and Maintenance provides £10M Employers Liability, £5M Public Liability and £2.5M Contract Works insurance provision.
